Bible Study Groups
Bible Study and Fellowship groups meet once a month on the second Sunday of each month from October through April. These groups take turns meeting in various homes. Here we discuss and study God’s Word and share one another’s interests. We choose study material to help us grow as Christians. We are now studying Christian virtues and will be selecting new study books at the first of the year. Come and join us in a night of Christian Fellowship.
Women’s Coffee Break Bible Study
Have you made a New Year’s resolution to be more regular in Bible Study?
How can you know God’s plan for your life if you are not consistent in prayer and reading God’s Word?
We would like to invite you to join us in a new study beginning February 5, called “Discovering Prayer.”
We’ll learn from the prayers and teachings of Jesus and others in the Bible, and discuss a variety of answers God gives to our prayers. We will also explore praying for people who are not saved; and the importance of being faithful in prayer for our nation, our church, our families, as well as ourselves.
Discover how practical and powerful prayer can be! Prayer is the Christian’s lifeline and it does make a difference for those who pray and the events and circumstances which surround us. Through prayer, people have found renewed courage, directions for making decisions, healing, protection, conversions of friends—there is no limit to what God will do through prayer.
We have the opportunity as well as the mandate to speak person to person with the God of the universe through the avenue of prayer. Our study about prayer will help us discover why we should pray and what God offers us in response to our prayers.
Please join us each Monday evening at 7:15 as we explore the exciting gift of prayer! We meet in the church council room over a cup of coffee or hot chocolate and welcome ladies of all ages to join us. Please see Nancy Elzinga for a lesson book.
