JV: Last Challenge - Information

Hope Realized! Praise Be To God!

Both the Voorhees Family and His Harvest Stand were greatly blessed by the Food and Benevolence drive this Thanksgiving Day!

More information to come...

Pastor Jeff's Last Challenge - Original Posting

During Pastor Jeff's final AM service on Sunday November 16...a challenge was given. A challenge that we raise up now to not only our church, but also now to our area churches and community leaders.

In what was supposed to be Pastor Jeff's last AM service before taking a vacation to be with Family over the Thanksgiving Holiday, he gave the Drenthe congregation this challenge.

HEAR IT IN JEFF's OWN WORDS

Please look deep within your hearts help us all make this the best Thanksgiving that our churches and communities have ever seen both in food and in funds.

By doing so, we don't just simply meet Pastor Jeff's challenge, and we don't do it to feel good about ourselves! But we do work towards THE GOAL: "It is about proving the love that we have for God, who we cannot see, by showing love for our neighbors, who we can see." - Pastor Jeff Voorhees.

At Drenthe CRC goods will be received through Thanksfgiving morning. If you plan to stop by, please be aware and respectful of visitation times and the funeral schedule.

See a need, fill a need! In lieu of this week’s events, the Council has decided to share the food proceeds of this year’s Thanksgiving Food Drive between the Voorhees family and His Harvest Stand.

Raid the cupboards! Even talk to the neighbors! Oh and, Shop Shop - Shop! Leave no door unopened, no can unturned. It’s time to pour out the love for our neighbors. Make those Deacons feel the burn as they carry bags and boxes up and down those foyer stairs!

Here is what the Voorhees stand in need of due to health & dietary needs:
1] Huggies Diapers, Size 6 and Size 4
