Community -> Family Night

Dinner

Family Night

FAMILY NIGHT consists of several activities—all on one evening—including activities for boys (2nd-8th grade) and girls (1st-8th grade). It all begins with a delicious free potluck supper provided by various church members and served from 5:45 to 6:45PM. Cadets (boys) and GEMS (girls) begins at 6:30 and includes activities, crafts and Bible study.

Beginning at 7PM, adults enjoy a guest speaker and program. Recent speakers have included Rep. Bill Huizenga and a local police officer who spent a year in Iraq training their police. We have been delighted with a visit from “Ben Franklin”, “George Washington”, and “Orville Wright”. We’ve heard the story of the parents of sextuplets, plane-crash survivors, an NFL star, someone who spent months in a Nazi war camp, an Appalachian Trial hiker, and others with unusual hobbies or interests.

Family Night is open to anyone from the community who enjoys good food and an interesting program. FAMILY NIGHT is usually scheduled for the third Wednesday of each month. Call 688-5526 if you have any questions.
